is individually wrapped
in a special clear plastic card-bag, which also contains
an envelope that is softly coloured to match the card.

| Saa Paper |
|
| The
greeting cards produced by Pikun Designs are
handmade from local
saa paper (mulberry
paper), which is an all-natural
product from the hills of Northern Thailand. The process
of making saa paper is very
friendly to the environment, and no trees are
destroyed or damaged. |
| For more
than 700 years paper has been handmade in Thailand
from the bark of the local saa-tree (Broussonetia Papyrifera
Vent). This paper is valued for its attractive
texture, which enhances the appearance of our
greeting cards to produce a natural but stylish look. |
| Traditionally,
the paper has also been used for Buddhist scripts, temple
decorations — especially at festival times, umbrellas,
fans and kite making. |

| Making Saa Paper Greetings Cards |
| The
decoration on each Pikun Designs' card, based
on natural local flowers and foliage, is also mostly
made from saa paper. |

all the paper, card, and decoration is made and assembled
